上周四，一场别开生面的音乐会在钱秀玲音乐厅举行，百余位古典音乐爱好者齐聚一堂，欣赏由小提琴家Miclen LaiPang、大提琴家Marc Girard Garcia和钢琴家Guillaume Vincent组成的“查第格三重奏”在一个阴雨绵绵的夏夜演奏的门德尔松和皮亚佐拉的经典作品。这场音乐会标志着使馆精彩系列活动“欧洲之感”的正式启动。系列音乐会将围绕大使馆现有的一架施坦威三角钢琴举办，在此要特别感谢寰宇新象New Cosmos。
这场音乐会上，还有比这架百年珍稀钢琴更加古老的乐器：一架造于1707年的安东尼奥·斯特拉迪瓦里小提琴，由比利时伊丽莎白女王音乐堂慷慨借给小提琴家Miclen LaiPang，以及一把由Dominique Peccatte制作的琴弓。这把非凡的乐器于斯特拉迪瓦里黄金时期被制作，由Miclen LaiPang的前导师、前伊丽莎白女王音乐比赛小提琴组比赛冠军Charles Castleman慷慨赠予音乐堂。大提琴家Marc Girard Garcia则使用一架制作于1675年的安德烈·瓜奈里大提琴。观众聆听着这历史悠久的乐器所奏出的旋律，这种独特的搭配营造出一种丰富和谐的音色。

Opening remarks by Ambassador Angelet
This concert marked the launch of the Embassy's exciting series, “A Sense of Europe,” focusing on a Steinway Grand Piano currently residing at the Embassy, thanks to New Cosmos.
For this concert, the exquisite, century-old piano was accompanied by even older masterpieces: an Antonio Stradivarius from Year 1707, generously loaned by the esteemed Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel for violinist Miclen Lai Pang, along with a bow crafted by Dominique Peccatte. This exceptional instrument, crafted during Stradivari's golden period, was generously gifted to the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel by Charles Castleman, Miclen’s former mentor, a former Violin Competition winner. And Cellist Marc Girard performed on an Andrea Guarneri from Year1675. As the audience listened to the melodies emanating from these instruments with long history, this unique pairing creates a rich and harmonious sound.
Following the stunning Mendelssohn C Minor Trio and Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, the trio encored twice, ultimately gifting the enthusiastic audience a delightful little surprise: 月亮代表我的心. Everyone joined in singing, creating a truly mesmerizing evening.

Among the audience was a very special guest: Princess Marie-Esméralda of Belgium, granddaughter of Queen Elisabeth. Her presence served as a poignant reminder of her grandmother's enduring legacy, the establishment the Queen Elisabeth Competition and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel—initiatives aimed at uniting people through music, transcending geopolitical, religious, and cultural differences. The language of music has the power to cross borders and time.
正是伊丽莎白女王音乐堂将这三人聚集在一起。音乐堂是一所独特的国际学校，专门为才华横溢的年轻音乐家打造，提供为期三年的驻留项目，每位学生都拥有自己的音乐工作室，并接受世界知名音乐家的大师课指导。这三位表演者都曾是那里的驻留艺术家，现在，他们都是音乐堂的副艺术家，并组成了“查第格三重奏”，在世界各地巡演。

The Music Chapel is what brought the trio together. Designed as a unique international school for exceptionally talented young musicians, it offers a three-year residency program where each student has their own music studio and receives master classes from world-renowned musicians. All three performers were once resident artists there. They are all Associate Artists of the Chapel and are touring the world as Trio Zadig. Each year, up to 80 gifted young musicians study at the Chapel, and we are proud to share that four Chinese musicians are currently among them. Over the past 20 years, nearly twenty Chinese musicians have benefited from this extraordinary environment. We hope that even more young Chinese musicians will find their way to the Queen Elisabeth Competition and the Music Chapel.
